👋🏼 Hey, I’m Zohra!
A dedicated student & UX designer based in Seattle, Washington.
I am currently a junior at the University of Washington pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Visualization, with an expected graduation of June 2026. I focus heavily on Human-Centered Design & Interaction, and I am working towards a career in UX and Product Design.
I am passionate about creating accessible and inclusive user experiences for all. Through my UX/UI projects and academic research, I have developed my skills in understanding user needs, conducting user research and usability tests, designing wireframes and prototypes, and iterating based on feedback. My experience in collaborating with diverse teams of designers, front-end developers, and back-end developers, has deepened my approach to user-centered design.
I am always seeking opportunities to connect with others, accept and reflect on feedback, and refine my design skills. Continuous learning and growth are among my greatest values.
Outside of my academic career, I enjoy listening to music, taking photos, and learning new skills.
🤔 Why UX?
Before becoming a UX Designer, I was on the path to becoming a Software Engineer.
However, I soon realized that I preferred the design process and curating user experiences. My passion for design enables me to use my creativity to develop innovative solutions.
✍🏼 My Philosophy
I have three values that I live by as a UX designer, student, and person.
Self Care
You can be mindful of others and focus on yourself too
Accept Obstacles
Utilize hardship as a time to reflect and grow
Growth Mindset
Take feedback, there is always space to improve and learn
